  Artist statement: I choose to do my self portrait project on a social movement striving for equality. I decided to incorporate two different races into my face depicting that everyone is equal no matter what skin color you are. I had fun messing around with the different tools and figuring out stuff as I went on felt really rewarding. I will definitely keep playing around with Adobe Illustrator and really enjoyed this assignment. My question is whats the difference between the selection tool and the direct selection tool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDbk3-Fm0gc What is outline mode and when should we be using it? In the video they outlined balloons in order to only show the strokes or borders of the artwork. In the video they used the warp tool to create a "dripping" effect to your art work. 

       At first I decided to do my project on pac man but then decided to make it on a house I found on the Internet. I spent nearly 7 hours total on this project and the most challenging part was figuring out how to make the door and the lines on the roof. This is my first time ever doing coding and honestly probably the most challenging assignment I have ever done.     I look forward to seeing everyone else's work in the class so I can soak in as much knowledge on how to become better using adobe dreamweaver, especially when it comes to arcs. This day marked the start of computers that could communicate with each other. The Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) refers to the communication methods used within the Internet. Before the invention of the World Wide Web, accomplishing anything was very strenuous and took a long time.      The World Wide Web is defined by Google as "an information system on the Internet enabling documents to be connected to other documents accessible by everyone with an Internet connection."  Hi my name is Jared Davidson, but people call me JD. Im a senior studying communications and focusing on sports journalism. I was born and raised here in Tampa, and played basketball all four years. I also like partying, music, going to the beach, and most importantly sleep. My favorite food is buffalo chicken wings but only with ranch.
