  Artist statement: I choose to do my self portrait project on a social movement striving for equality. I decided to incorporate two different races into my face depicting that everyone is equal no matter what skin color you are. I had fun messing around with the different tools and figuring out stuff as I went on felt really rewarding. I will definitely keep playing around with Adobe Illustrator and really enjoyed this assignment. In the video they outlined balloons in order to only show the strokes or borders of the artwork. In the video they used the warp tool to create a "dripping" effect to your art work.
